SIM-Sized Card Support and Flash Storage
SIMFlash readers take a SIM-sized (plug-in) smart card, which stays inside the device, so the reader is as portable as a USB drive. On the ACR100I, the flash memory can be arranged as up to three drives, from these types: a private or security area, a public area, a CD-ROM/auto-run area, and a hidden area. That arrangement lets one device carry, for example, a portable application alongside protected data.
PC/SC and CCID
