The ACS ACR39U is a USB contact smart card reader family for ISO 7816 Class A, B and C smart cards, microprocessor cards using the T=0 and T=1 protocols, and memory cards. All models are PC/SC and CCID compliant. ACS lists device-driver support for Windows, Linux, macOS, Solaris and Android (Android 3.1 and later) for all four models. The ACR39U is a USB CCID device, but the exact driver you need depends on the operating system and your deployment.
