ACR40U Contact Smart Card Reader
The ACR40U is ACS's compact, high-speed USB contact smart card reader, supporting ISO 7816 Class A, B and C smart cards, microprocessor cards over T=0/T=1, and a wide range of memory cards. It's CCID and PC/SC compliant, carries Microsoft WHQL, EMV Level 1 and PBOC Level 1 certification, and works with Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS, iPadOS and Android. It's available in two configurations — Standard (compact, flat desktop form) and Premium (adds a stand accessory for upright or horizontal positioning). Overview
The ACR40U features two LED lights indicating card and reader status, firmware upgradability, and on-device user data storage for various application scenarios. Both USB Type-A and Type-C interface options are available.
