RFID and NFC-based Inventory System:
NFC tags and transceivers are ubiquitous and well supported. Traditionally, a printed, human-readable inventory and attached labels have been used to keep track of these devices. A new inventory approach was developed with the aim of simplifying the data acquisition using an NFC tag-based system supported by an Android application / PC / Handheld System.
Near Field Communication (NFC) defines a communication channel for devices in close proximity (up to 10 cm). With a combination of NFC and UHF (RFID) tags system can work on android tablets / handheld devices and personnel computers.
Inventory System Flow
Once the items are in place from the system one can assign the items to a particular employee.
There will be two antennas at the gate
1. First Antenna will be used as an IN enter
2. Second Antenna will be used as an Out entry
These antennae will be connected to reader and this reader will be connected to machine by network cable.
