Software Integration & Driver Support

The DigitalPersona 4500 works with standard HID/DigitalPersona enrollment and verification software on Windows. To download the official driver, visit HID Global's driver page. BSD Infotech also provides a small utility for saving fingerprint images, with customized software integration available on a chargeable basis for customers in Ahmedabad and elsewhere.

Beyond attendance and access control, BSD Infotech also helps clients in Ahmedabad set up the DigitalPersona 4500 for fingerprint-based Windows login — letting a user sign in to their own Windows PC with a fingerprint instead of, or alongside, a password (set up on each PC individually) — and integrate the same reader into their own software so users authenticate with a fingerprint rather than a username and password. See the main DigitalPersona 4500 page or our fingerprint software development page for more.
