Specifically designed to cater to the US market, <strong>ACR3801 is a FIPS 201-compliant contact smart card reader</strong> utilizing the latest technology. With an elegant design and capability to support high speed transactions, <strong>ACR3801</strong> is ideal for a broad range of smart card solutions, including <strong>Public Identity Verification (PIV)</strong>, Physical and Logical Access Control, Digital Signature, and Online Banking.
ACR3801 supports ISO 7816 Class A, B and C (5 V, 3 V, 1.8 V) smart cards and microprocessor cards with T=0 and T=1 protocol. It also supports a wide variety of memory cards in the market, including the Common Access Card (CAC), a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) smart card issued as standard identification for active DoD personnel and other non-DoD government employees.
